Tennis Court Policy

Abbey Springs has 4 Clay Tennis courts. Courts are available to unit owners and rec members for free by reserving courts at https://holdmycourt.xyz/reserve2/abbeysprings

Reservation Policies and Guidelines
  1. Proper Athletic attire must be worn on the courts at all times.  NO SANDELS or STREET SHOES will be allowed.  Shirts must be worn at all times.
  2. Abbey Springs staff has priority at all times over court time. Court reservations may be canceled due to lessons, leagues, tournaments, events, and etc.

Tennis Programs

Adult Programs

Women’s Clinic has become a staple at Abbey Springs over the past decade. This 1.5 hour session features drills and fun competitive games.  Doubles strategy and court positioning will be a main focus. All levels are encouraged to attend as there will be two to three pros and groups will be split up based upon playing ability.
 
Tuesdays 9-10:30 starting June 27th
Saturdays 10am-11:30am (starting Memorial Day Weekend)

Cost $22 Unit Owners $30 Rec/Tennis Members

Each class will off singles and doubles drills.  This class is open to men and women intermediate and up.
 
Thursdays 6-7:30pm starting June 30th

Cost $22 Unit Owners $30 Rec/Tennis Members

Come for Cardio Tennis and stay for Men's Clinic! This will be an hour long session with John and is for men of all ages and ability. Technique, strategy, and footwork will be emphasized through drills and games.
 
Sundays 10am-11am (starting Memorial Day Weekend)

Cost $15 Unit Owners $20 Rec/Tennis Members

This is new to Abbey Springs due to popular demand. This will be a fast paced class for avid players. Doubles and singles strategy along with some instruction.  Co-ed drill for NTRP 4.0+players
 
Saturdays 8:30am-10am (starting Memorial Day Weekend)

Cost $22 Unit Owners $30 Guest

Mondays from 5-7pm will be open league play for men and women.
Doubles and singles will be played based on attendance.  Players will be split up based on ability and rotate partners after games and sets.  This league will run June 26th- September 4th.  Please contact John to reserve your spot each week
 
A staff pro will run the league and play in if necessary.

Bored with the same fitness routine? Try out Cardio Tennis, the new fun way to stay in shape and fine tune your game.  Cardio Tennis is a fun group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate high energy workout.  This exciting exercise program includes a warm-up and cardio workout set to music. This is a coed program. Change up your workout and try it!

Sundays 9-10am
Memorial through Labor Day

Junior Program

For players ages 8-12 who want to have

fun.  This class is an hour and a half long and will have lots of instruction.  Kids will start to learn how to serve and also work on singles and doubles play. Each class will consist of many games to make sure the kids have a blast. Quickstart equipment will be used.
 
Sundays 11-12:00pm

Cost $15 Unit Owners $20 Rec/Tennis Members

This drill is geared towards high school and tournament players.  A variety of competitive games will be played along with drills and match play. Singles and Doubles Strategy will be covered.

Saturdays 11:30am-12:30pm

Cost $15 Unit Owners $20 Rec/Tennis Members
