Abbey Springs Recreation Center has a little bit of something for everyone. Whether you are here to work out or enjoy a day by the pool, our staff wants to help you make the best of your stay here.  Amenities include two upscale country club style locker rooms, family changing rooms, beautiful aquatic facility, two story fitness center, world class tennis program, extensive children’s program, water aerobics, yoga, etc. The only problem you will experience here is not having enough time to enjoy all of our amenities.

Abbey Springs Aquatic Center

Our aquatic facility includes four pools (Indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, outdoor and zero-depth pool), which provide limitless possibilities for the casual swimmer all the way up to advanced athletes.

Pool & Whirlpool Rules

Please help us keep the pool area clean by storing your shoes and other bulky items in the cubicles located inside of locker rooms.  Let your friends and family know about our shoe policy, because it will really make a difference when it comes to keeping facility clean and clutter free.

Abbey Springs Fitness Center

Our Fitness Center is equipped with top of the line exercise equipment and experienced staff who are able to assist our members. Our two-story fitness center includes a state-of-the art cardio room and strength training room equipped with dumbbells, top notch fitness equipment, medicine balls, and exercise equipment to meet all of your workout needs.

Personal Training

If you are wanting to get your summer on the right track for fitness, book your personal training sessions by emailing Rachel at rachelharderfitness@gmail.com. Remember, it is first come, first serve so don’t wait too long making your reservation.

Private 60 minutes: $60
Special Packages
Purchase 5 receive a 5% discount: $285
Purchase 10 receive a 10% discount: $540
Purchase 15 receive a 15% discount: $765

Semi-private (2 individuals) 60 minutes: $35 per person/$70 total
Special Packages

*All packages have a 6 month expiration date *Both parties must be present for semi-private trainings.

Water Aerobics

This class is conducted in shallow water and swimming ability is not required. We utilize the resistance of the water to improve cardiovascular fitness as well as increase muscular strength and endurance. Options to utilize equipment and exercise modifications are given to challenge participants of all fitness levels.

Resistance Band Classes

This class is designed to improve your strength, balance & core stability using resistance bands and bodyweight exercises. Resistance bands are a versatile piece of equipment that allow participants the ability to easily adjust the resistance to suit their needs. This class is designed for all fitness levels, and modifications will be given. Class will begin with a warm up and end with some light stretching.
 

  • All Equipment for classes provided.
  • Classes are $15 cash or billed as Unit charge.
  • Punch Cards are available for $120/10punch card.  A savings of $3/class

Yoga

  • Class is held at the Beach (unless temperature is below 60 degrees)
  • Keep up with your weekly emailers as Yoga class schedule will be updated regularly.
Yoga by definition means the union of your body and breath.  Vinyasa means linking your body movement with your breath to calm the mind and improve mental focus.  The benefits from a regular yoga practice are innumerable, including noticeable improvement in posture, gait, breathing, flexibility, strength, stamina, balance and overall general well-being.

Abbey Springs Tennis Program

Over the past seven years, John Reed, our tennis professional, has put a lot of time and effort into overhauling our Tennis Program. With his help, Abbey Springs Recreation Center truly has a world class tennis program. John Reed has a highly tennis program that can meet the needs of tennis players of all skill levels.
